Coming from a photographer that has photographed thousands of women over the last 15 years I want you to hear me when I say this. ALL WOMEN ARE NERVOUS TO GET IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA! So don't worry darling, it's not just you. From the moment you walk into my beautiful Bozeman Studio, I will do everything I can to alleviate your nerves. My clients always walk away thinking "what was I so worried about?". I will start you off by guiding you through every step of the process starting with what you should bring to your boudoir shoot, how to prepare and what clothes to choose through a series of emails and your pre-shoot consult. We will start your shoot off with a glass of champagne (which always helps) and then you have a whole hour during hair and makeup and a little pampering to just relax and settle in.
In general, the thing that most women are nervous about is that they just don't know what to do in front of the camera to "look sexy". Rest assured that during your photoshoot I will guide you into every pose by showing you what I want it to look like and then telling you the placement of every body part from your head to your feet and even what to do with your mouth and eyes. I always tell my clients, "this is not America's Next Top Model!" You do not have to know what to do and I will never ever just leave you out there to come up with a pose or what to do next. I've been photographing boudoir for over a decade and by this point I have learned how to pose and light the female form no matter what size you may be to create beautiful and flattering images.
